How to use:
- Add ½ pouch to a small pot or mini-crock.
- Cover with 4–5 cups water (optional: splash of cider or mead).
- Bring to a gentle simmer, reduce to low, and top up water as needed.
- Enjoy 2–4 hours. Cool fully before discarding; re-simmer next day with fresh water.
Optional “mead hall” boosters:
- ¼ cup apple cider or mead for round, honeyed sweetness
- 1 Tbsp honey to deepen the golden finish
- 2–3 drops cedar/oud or a touch of vanilla extract placed on 1 tsp coarse salt (helps disperse)
Shelf life & storage: Up to 12 months airtight in a cool, dark place (most aromatic within 6 months).
